e-IOS is a user-friendly SW solution for intra-annual or annual inventory of fixed assets using automatic data capturing. Utilization of bar codes for inventory numbers and hand-held scanners for their reading enables perfect traceability, accurate records and quick execution of inventory checks. E-IOS can be installed on the personal computer equipped with Windows operating system.

The powerful user interface, designed by Oria SW development team, enables fast automatic data transfers from MS Excel sheets and connections to hand-held bar code scanners. e-IOS program code is in accordance with the accounting standards.

e-IOS enables:

Regular Inventory

The “Regular Inventory” module enables fast paperless inventory execution by using hand-held terminals for reading bar codes from inventory number labels. All input data are imported into e-IOS from pre-prepared MS Excel data sheets that had been previously exported from the existing ERP system. When data are processed and sent to hand-held scanner terminals, users can start scanning the inventory bar codes for inventory labels. When inventory data are transferred back into e-IOS, inventory results can be printed or exported in .xml, .HTM or .TXT format.

Register of fixed assets

The “Register of fixed assets” is intended to be used by fixed asset administrators in the companies who have problems with traceability due to a large number of assets or asset locations. The module enables execution of all procedures for fixed asset management (e.g. write-off, transfer etc.) and assures an accurate and up-to-date fixed asset register. The interface for import of comparative accountancy data facilitates quick and simple comparison between accountancy and register data base.

Hardware

Hand-held terminals with a built-in laser bar code scanner are used for fixed asset recording. The most popular models used are Datalogic Memor and Datalogic Skorpio.
